William Robert Bates, JD, HCCP, is a member of the bar in Indiana, with a specialty in tax law.  He will discuss several important ways of achieving tax deferment in our real estate business.

Will is a good friend of Mike Jacobson. 

He is a seasoned real estate developer and attorney from Indianapolis, Indiana, with a focus on preserving and revitalizing historic urban buildings. Since 1987, he has led 18 major projects worth over $102 million, creating more than 1,010 residential units.

His work has earned national recognition, including two Pillars Awards from NAHB and a Charles L. Edson Award for Urban Housing Excellence.

Will also specializes in Opportunity Zone projects and owns several rental properties. He founded MBA Property Management Inc., which oversees multifamily properties across multiple states, and has expertise in affordable housing compliance.
